Imperial Glory One is the story of Mass Effect One, told through the eyes of a very different Shepard, in a very different world.
In my own words: It is 2193, 36 years since Humanity's explosive entrance onto the galactic stage.
The old orders of the Council and the Citadel, the Trine of races jealously hoarding power has been cast down, replaced by the new order of Humanity and the Terran Empire. There is stability, and justice. Humans and our allies, the strong Krogan, the loyal Quarians, the clever Batarians, and the noble Asari rule unquestionably, but not all are happy with this.
The older races remember their past glories, the days when Humans were unknown, and THEY ruled the stars. Some of them work to bring those days back, no matter the cost...
Prologue: Senator Udina, Commodore Anderson, and High Admiral Hackett meet to discuss the induction of the first Terran into the newly re-formed Spectres.
Chapter 1: Introduction. Johnathan Shepard is given his first assignment after finishing Bastion augmentation and training.
Chapter 2: Shakedown cruise. Or not. The first mission gets complicated as an enemy is revealed.
Chapter 3: Aftermath. Shepard recovers from the mission, and meets both an old friend, and a new one.
Chapter 4: Ceremony. Shepard is formally inducted into the new Imperial Spectres, and receives his orders.
Chapter 5: Search and Rescue. Shepard rescues an old acquaintance from the clutches of Saren's lackeys.
Chapter 6: Unexpected delay. The Normandy comes to the aid of a damaged Batarian vessel, and Shepard gains two new squadmates.
Chapter 7: Revenants and Revelation. Shepard squares off against Saren's forces, Exo-Geni machinations, and ancient evil on Feros.
Chapter 8: Downtime. The Normandy is recalled to Arcturus as a small powerplay is made in the Imperial military.
Chapter 9: Preparations. Normandy and her sister ships are readied for a strike that could change the face of the war.
Chapter 10: Deep Strike. The Normandy's Pack encounters several unexpected situations as they complete their mission.
Chapter 11: Rescue of a wounded World Part One. Shepard and company come to the aid of the Batarian Sector Capital.
Chapter 12: Rescue of a wounded World Part Two. Shepard and company finish the fight on Camala. An old enemy rears it's three heads.
Chapter 13: Redemption. The Normandy's Pack arrives to assist with the defense of Quaria. The Turian Sector Fleet squares off against Sovereign in the Quarian home system.
Chapter 14: Virmire. Shepard meets Sovereign, wiping out one of Saren's facilities in the process.
Chapter 15: Technical Difficulties. An accident forces the Normandy and it's crew to bargain with a Terminus station.
Chapter 16: Frozen Secrets: Preparations. Shepard links up with a convoy heading to assist in the assault of Noveria. He meets the newest ally of Terra.
Chapter 17: Frozen Secrets: Engagement. Shepard and Everett make the final preparations for the assault. The new members integrate into their respective crews.
Chapter 18: Frozen Secrets: Assault and Conclusion. Noveria falls to the Terran Empire. Shepard and Everett square off against Matriarch Benezia, and find an unexpected complication.
Chapter 19: Endgame. The Tenth Fleet races toward Ilos. Discoveries are made that will send echos throughout the Galaxy for years to come.
Chapter 20: Epilogue. I'll let y'all discover that for yourself.
